The jobs list also included rationalising the chaos of wires and cables from redundant electronics, fitting USBs and new LED lights through the boat and transforming the forepeak into a beautiful space with wooden slatting on the hullsides.

Around 350 Contessa 26s were built by the Jeremy Rogers yard and a further 400 under licence in Canada. We regularly look after customers repairs and maintenance on these boats and occasionally get the chance to do a major refit.
As so many of our refurbishment jobs it started with a phone call. The customer didn’t have a Contessa 32 yet but knew that was what he wanted and asked if we could help to find a second hand one.
Originally commissioned for the commodore of the Royal Yacht Squadron back in 1977 ‘Star Ven’ had then been owned by a family who sailed her far and wide from her base in the West Coast of Scotland.
