Cowes Week Update
It's been incredibly close racing at Cowes this year in what's been a very windy week so far. Two days have been called off thanks to high winds of up to 40 knots. There are 18 boats entered, three with young crews and two (Boudicca and Nimbus ) with all female crews, marking a significant shift for the class...

Cowes week resurgence
Ever since the 1970s the Contessa 32 has enjoyed its own start at Cowes week. Back then numbers on the start line swelled to nearly 50 which, like most classes, declined over the years. After the threat of amalgamation with other classes a few years ago, the Contessa 32 is now one of the most popular class starts with 18 boats confirmed.

First All Contessa Regatta hailed a great success
The first ever all Contessa Regatta took place on the weekend of the 9-11th June and, despite challenging sailing conditions, a great time was had by all. Over 40 boats entered, including Contessa 32s, 26s, 28s and 35s. The event was intended as a tribute to the life and work of the Contessa builder Jeremy Rogers who died last year.

Man Riding Davits
Our davits can now be class approved to meet man overboard, man riding and rescue boat launching standard.
We work with certifying agents RINA to comply with regulations set out in red ensign group part A yacht code so you and your crew can work with complete peace of mind when using davits for rescue purposes.

‘Classic Boat’ Lifetime Achievement Award
